Funding for students from the E.W. Kuhlmann Foundation

The E.W. Kuhlmann Foundation was founded in Hamburg in 1997 by Edith and Edmund Kuhlmann. The Foundation aims to provide financial support for economically disadvantaged individuals during their education to enable them to start their careers as quickly as possible. By providing interest-free loans, the Kuhlmann Foundation seeks to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent high-performing students from completing their final exams promptly. The Foundation also offers a graduation prize for students who have successfully completed their degrees.

Funding

The Kuhlmann Foundation began supporting students at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in August 2023. Funding of up to EUR130,000 is available and is aimed in particular at benefiting students in the final phase of their studies.
