With 600,000 media, digital services and many online and streaming services, the Municipal Libraries of the state capital Düsseldorf provide a trendsetting range of information and educational services. For a small annual fee, customers can use the online library free of charge 24 hours a day from any Internet-enabled mobile devices or PCs, in addition to the central library at the central train station, 13 district libraries and a children's library. Over 1,000 events a year provide entertainment, information and communication.
