Appointments and open consultation hours
The general student advisory service provides support on topics such as:
- Organisation of studies/time management
- Starting your studies successfully
- Overcoming study problems
- Switching subjects and doubts about your studies
- Orientation during and after your studies
Depending on personal preference, one-on-one appointments can also be held online via Webex, telephone or chat. You can find out more about chat consultations for students here (German only).

The advisory service for your subject can help in the event of subject-specific questions, e.g. about study plans.
The Registrar’s Office can answer questions relating to registration for and withdrawal from exams.
The Student Services Centre provides advice on studying for prospective students and support in the event of general questions relating to enrolment, leaves of absence, de-registration, etc.
